Authentic Drive: The Racing Side of the Truth & Defiance Universe

Late nights. Neon streets.

Choices that leave tire marks.

The Truth & Defiance universe has characters. It also has a world they live in. Authentic Drive is a piece of that world — the part that smells like burnt rubber and bad decisions made at exactly the right moment.

This isn't motorsport. This is the street circuit. The kind that doesn't have a sanctioning body or a safety car. Just people who show up, line up, and find out.

From the Scene

The light goes green at 2am. Nobody asked permission. Nobody needed to.

You either know this feeling or you don't. The city opens up differently at that hour — less noise, more truth. Every run tells you something about yourself you weren't ready to hear in daylight. About how far you'll go. About what you're actually made of when there's nothing left to hide behind.

That's what Authentic Drive is. Not the race. The truth you find at the end of it.

What It Actually Means

It's not about the car. It's never really about the car.

Authentic Drive is about showing up as exactly who you are — no performance, no pretending, no version of yourself built for other people's comfort. The street circuit has a way of stripping all of that away. You can't fake it at speed. You either commit or you don't. And the people next to you, the ones who showed up to the same parking lot at the same hour — they already know who you are before you say a word.

That's the thing about this scene. It finds your people for you.

The Merch

The tees, hoodies, and high tops carry the full Authentic Drive graphic — a slammed car under the Defiance logo, racing typography, the kind of design that means something to people who've been in those parking lots at 2am and nothing to everyone else. Both are fine.

Part of Something Bigger

Authentic Drive is the racing side of the Truth & Defiance universe — the world the characters move through. It's got its own story, its own scene, its own people.

Some roads don't show up on maps. You find them anyway.
